Davidic Dance

Please join us at 9:45 am at the front left of the sanctuary for practice before service.

Davidic Dance is a form of worship. Davidic dancing got its name from King David as he danced before the Lord as he saw the ark of Adonai arriving in Jerusalem. (2 Samuel 6:14). Dancing as a form of worship predates David, Exodus 15:20 when the Israelites watched God destroy Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea while God delivered the Israelites by parting the Red Sea for them to cross over on dry land.

Psalm 150:3-4 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the flute and harp! Praise Him with timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
